Ordering a 3D print is simple

Whether you need a prototype, a custom part or a one-off replacement, ordering from Layer By Layer Solutions takes four steps. Here is what to expect from file to finished print.

Step 1: Send your file

Upload your 3D model on our Get a Quote page. We accept STL, OBJ and STEP files. Let us know the quantity, what the part is for and any size or strength requirements. No file yet? Send photos and measurements of the part instead and we can quote for modelling it.

Step 2: Get your quote within 24 hours

We check your file and send you a custom quote within 24 hours.

Step 3: Choose your material and colour

We print with FDM filament only, in PLA, PETG and ABS/ASA. PLA suits indoor and display parts, PETG is tougher for everyday functional parts, and ABS/ASA handles heat and sunlight better. Not sure? We will recommend a material based on how the part will be used. Then pick your colour.

Step 4: Printed and dispatched in 48 to 96 hours

Once you approve the quote, most orders are printed and dispatched in 48 to 96 hours.
